Search Tips

The operators "AND", "OR" and "NOT" may be combined with search terms in the text boxes. Unless otherwise stated, the search engine will assume an “AND” relationship between search terms.

Author search

To search for publications with a given set of co-authors, authors’ names must be linked with “AND”. If authors’ names are linked with “OR”, the search engine will retrieve publications written by any of the authors searched.

Term search

For an exact search result match, the search term must be enclosed in double quotes. If the search term is not enclosed in double quotes, the search engine will retrieve publications that include the search term elements, regardless of the sequence in which they appear within the article.

DOI search

To search for a DOI, input the DOI without “http://dx.doi.org/”

Note

Use interrogation mark (?) to represent any given character, and an asterisk (*) to represent a number of characters or an empty string.
