Resumen
This paper describes a model that detects the concentration of any gas absorbed in a wavelength of 780 nm. The model was designed using a fiber optics laboratory kit mostly used for telecomunications experiments. The gases used were oxigen, isopropanol vapor and acetone vapor mixed with water vapor in diferent concentrations. The physics phenomena are described. This study suggests modifications that must be improved in order to apply the model to other gases.
