Abstract

An experimental method was developed in order to join in vivo fibroblasts to an electronic device, a field effect transistor (ISFET), attempting to give a general view of the implications and requirements of animal cell culture and the different techniques required to handle the ISFET and its relation with biologic material. Signals from stimulated cells by mechanical means like hydrostatic pressure were registered establishing a value of voltage associated to the level of pressure applied. An hypothesis was established, related with the non linear behavior of the cells to mechanical induced stimulus and the possible improves and future applications of the method.
