Problems of Environmental Licensing in Power Transmission Systems

In this article, I want to show my vision of the environmental licensing process in Colombia from my position as a transmission lines auditor and designer. To do this, I will talk about the license application process, the current regulations that apply to this type of project, and the time it takes to obtain it. Subsequently, I will present examples of success stories and improvements in the construction of transmission lines, and finally, I will give some recommendations to make the licensing process even more efficient.
