The role of Tertiary Roads in the construction of a new country

Abstract

This article presents a vision of the country’s problems in relation to tertiary roads, the role of tertiary roads as one of the axes in the transformation of the Colombian countryside, the reduction of social gaps and the consolidation of the presence of the State In regions that need stabilization and development opportunities in this historic moment in which Colombia is.

This document derives from a proposal of concrete actions based on the experiences of the Transport Infrastructure Sector. In the end, it describes the strategy of intervention with community participation and unified action in tertiary roads that is currently under development.
