Abstract
The Swiss land administration system has developed over the last 100 years into a reliable and stable infrastructure underpinning the social and economic context of the country. Switzerland enjoys an established and long-standing political and economic stability, for which the cadastral system is an important element. This article presents the swiss cadastre and the context, in which it is being operated.
