It traces the main themes, influences, virtues and limitations of his interpretations regarding Colombia’s Indian past. Particularly, it focuses on the ways in which the work of Rivet, Steward, and the ecologism school, were incorporated into Reichel’s thinking, transforming his ideas about the past.
