Abstract

Given the current situation of war and social strife in the world, many people, particularly in the "north", for a variety of reasons, build professional careers and personal itineraries around humanitarian work. A series of questions regarding the complexities, ambiguities, and limitations of humanitarian and development work will be explored in this text.
