Abstract
This text analyzes the role played by gender bias among male and female reporters of the newspapers El Sol de Acapulco, El Sur de Acapulco and Novedades Acapulco in their accounts of feminicides. The author holds that by stepping away from the sex/gender system, established in accordance with the judgements of the journalists, the feminicide victims are morally sanctioned and blamed for the murder.
