Resumen
El propósito de este artículo es evidenciar cómo se renovó el autoritarismo en Egipto tras la caída de Mubarak. A través de la reconstrucción de las acciones de los principales actores políticos egipcios se demuestra que las demandas de democratización que surgieron en la “primavera” de 2011 significaron solo un cambio en la personificación del autoritarismo, pero no del autoritarismo institucionalizado de los militares. También se establece que esa estructura ha sido legitimada por el actual presidente al-Sisi mediante la restitución o “corrección” de diversas prácticas de la era Mubarak, recurriendo a medidas más represivas, la reincorporación de las viejas figuras mubarakistas y un discurso nacionalista más agresivo. A estas prácticas se les denomina en este estudio neomubarakismo.
