Abstract

Vehicle performance road testing is based on international standards, particularly those developed by SAE. The Centro de Investigación en Control Ambiental, Vehículos y Combustibles - CICOM designed a system capable of testing vehicles according to those standards. The system has already been used on different vehicles. This paper describes the procedure followed in order to perform vehicles tests, the equipment used to perform it, and results from a study done on a vehicle converted to natural gas.
