Accessibility analysis applied to the Distribution of Compressed Natural Gas

A methodological proposal and a comparison of results of the accessibility conditions of the Compressed Natural Gas (GNC) supply in a region of Caldas (Colombia) were done in this research. The analysis took into consideration the forecast of GNC consumption and the different geographic variables and also the transport infrastructure that allowed efficient logistics in the delivery of GNC to target populations and their relation to the possible distribution points. The main objective of this research is to establish the best GNC distribution supply point for two road corridors of Caldas. A multi-criteria analysis of the variables was done.
