Abstract

Residential water networks (RWN) are the last segment of a water distribution system. These networks must supply the users with the correct amount and quality of water at any point in time. To achieve this, the correct design of RWN’s implies a sound understanding of the future water demands and the way in which it will present itself. This paper proposes a methodology for calculating the parameters that define the water demand pulses and the calibration realized for a case study.
