Abstract
This article reviews the current situation and the potential for precision agriculture techniques in the field of crop protection. It discusses remote sensing, mapping and variability management techniques. It also briefly describes some success cases regarding validated techniques for dose adjustment in crop protection products. Finally, it discusses the possibilities offered by drones in crop protection, particularly their use in precise pesticide spraying.
