Abstract
Biodiversity and the lack of technification in agricultural processes created the need to establish key strategies to stimulate agricultural production improvements in Colombia. Sáenz Fety has successfully designed and incorporated seven elements into its strategy to increase agricultural production capacity, stimulate greater and better consumption of local products and, of course, expand possibilities for exporters. These elements, based on investment in research and development and innovation, are essential to transform company growth from incremental into exponential or even disruptive growth. This article discusses in detail the seven key elements and their impact on productive use of agricultural supplies in Colombia, which are: product personalization, the decrease in aversion to technology, process replicability, in-situ market tests, interaction with academia, new market creation and interdisciplinary work.
