Abstract
Public communication of archaeological knowledge is key to allow access, ownership and social assessment of the past. This work aims to contribute to the discussion on the role of media in public communication of archeology through the analysis of print media coverage of local activities carried out by archaeologists belonging to or associated with the Faculty of Social Sciences, Unicen, and published in the newspaper El Popular. Olavarria, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
