Abstract
International intervention is one of the central phenomena in the contemporary political dynamics. However, theoretical developments in the field are still precarious in spite of the extensive literature evidencing the intensification of interventionist practices over the last two decades. This article analyzes the major points of discussion around its conceptualization and presents the challenges derived from the transformation of the interventionist practices under the influence of globalization.
