Compreendendo e questionando a governança global

Resumo

Objetivo: O artigo argumenta que, embora a Governança Global (GG) seja um fenômeno amplamente analisado e uma prática atualmente difundida, ela se baseia em premissas ontológicas que não foram suficientemente questionadas. Por esse motivo, seu objetivo é oferecer uma compreensão diferente do GG com base no pluralismo ontológico. Metodologia: Para identificar essas premissas universalistas, o artigo oferece um estado da arte a partir do qual uma análise do discurso e do uso da linguagem é realizada em documentos acadêmicos e documentos institucionais. Posteriormente, é realizado um exercício de teorização. Conclusões: A análise revela que existe uma abordagem universal da realidade global como única e compartilhada que não permite que o GG seja pensado em termos mais plurais que admitam espaços para a diferença. Originalidade: este artigo faz uma crítica diferente ao GG, levantando a discussão em termos ontológicos, conseguindo pensar o global em termos mais plurais, que não foram incluídos nas discussões acadêmicas do GG.
