Abstract
In February 2010, as part of the Bogotrax festival, a collective work was presented on the south façade of the National Museum on Carrera 7a. “Noise, Memory and Decomposition” was a performance about collective memory. On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the seizure of the Palace of Justice, outside of official memories, the aim was to question the mediations, the ongoing decomposition, to which the memory of “our” history is subject. The story of this event is in itself a reflection on art and memory in the interstice of two narratives, that of the State and that of social movements.
