Abstract

This contribution offers a panoramic synthesis of the main events that have taken place in recent years on Latin American related to constructive/concrete art (exhibitions, congresses, seminars). It aims to propose the value of updating the work that Tomás Maldonado called "projectual" aesthetics; namely, the possibility of thinking the arts and design as enablers of the transformations that are politically and socially posed as demands in the region.
