1. What is Revista Desarrollo y Sociedad?

Revista Desarrollo y Sociedad is an academic journal that belongs to the Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo y Sociedad (CEDE) of the Faculty of Economics at Universidad de los Andes. 2. How does the journal work?

The organizational structure of the journal is made up of the editorial team, the editorial committee and the scientific committee. The main responsibility of the team is to guarantee the quality and originality of the journal. To know about the Ethics policies please enter here.

3. Which are the contents’ receiving periods for the Journal?

The journal publishes three issues every year, one each four-month period. Usually, two of the issues are general and the other one is thematic. The regular issues publishe articles of general subjects of the area of economics and social sciences on February and August. The special issue publishes articles of specific themes of the fields of interest on October. We invite you to review the instructions to submit the articles here.

The reviewers carry out their work voluntarily and free of charge. If you are interested in becoming a reviewer, please send a complete curriculum indicating the research fields and languages skills to revistadesarrolloysociedad@uniandes.edu.co.
