Covid-19, una mirada a su comportamiento en Japón y en Colombia

Abstract
"The review of the Covid-19 pandemic's behavior and certain aspects of its management in Colombia and Japan gains relevance a few weeks after the May 5, 2023, declaration by the World Health Organization (WHO), which can be accessed on the official WHO press releases page. This declaration emerged from the fifteenth meeting of the Emergency Committee under the International Health Regulations for the Covid-19 pandemic, held on May 4, 2023. The WHO announced that during the meeting, it was concluded that Covid-19 is no longer considered a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) and is now defined as an 'established and ongoing health problem.' This shift is attributed to the observed trend of decreasing deaths, hospitalizations, and intensive care cases, as well as the immunity achieved through Covid-19 vaccination and natural infection. [...]"
