Abstract
This paper takes into account the diverse questions that the designer may have on caring out a procedure, or realizing a thought process when working in his field. The reasons for this undertaking are the following: to clarify the characteristics of the design, the notion of type, the sketch, the model, and the prototype. Studies are carried out of the dimensions of attitudes and domains. The former are considered to have either a place of permanency or change in life, and the latter deal with the area of thoughts and ideas in the concrete world from which the configuration arises. Different scenarios emerge from these attitudes and domains allowing the designer to have a better understanding of: the notion of type, what can be inferred from the sketches, the way in which a representation of the idea (a model) can be created, and lastly to be able to begin the process of pondering, which is itself the essence of the creative prototype.
