SUPERANDO LA PATOGRAFÍA. LA HONESTIDAD DEL RELATO NO FIABLE EN TRES HISTORIAS GRÁFICAS SOBRE SALUD MENTAL

Resumen

La “verdad” o “fiabilidad” de los relatos autobiográficos sobre enfermedades ha sido un tema reiterado en las caracterizaciones de lo patográfico. En este artículo, el comentario de tres cómics sobre experiencias de ingreso psiquiátrico —Dormo molt, de Maria Manonelles; Manicomio, de Montse Batalla y Xevidom, y Penélope, de Abel Carrasco— me permite postular que la no fiabilidad puede resultar una estrategia para construir un relato a la vez honesto y vulnerable. Esta vulnerabilidad condiciona no solo la posición del autor sino también la del lector, destinatario de una obra en la cual la frontera entre lo verosímil y lo imaginario se difumina.
