FAQs

1. How do I submit an article or review to Perífrasis?

Articles and reviews will only be received in Spanish and English in digital form by OJS. Articles submitted to the journal’s call for papers must not be under evaluation by any other publication and must fully comply with our Submission Guidelines.

2. How does it work the Editorial Process?

Once the article is received, the Editorial Board will evaluate its basic compliance with the editorial requirements of Perífrasis. If this committee approves it, the document will be sent for double-blind review by two external peers. The results of the review will be announced through a letter of acceptance, acceptance with changes, or rejection, which will be sent to the authors. If an article is accepted and changes are requested, the author will have two weeks to work on them. Once these changes are reviewed, the author will be informed about the final approval and publishing dates. The Editorial Board will determine, based on the result of the peer review, whether an article will be published or not, as well as which articles can be published in future issues. The Editorial Board reserves the right to decide on copyediting when it deems it necessary. If an article is accepted for publication, the author must sign a consent form for publication in the printed version as well as the digital version of the journal. Authors of accepted articles will receive two copies of the journal where their article appears.
