Abstract
This article documents the work undertaken by the Department of Architecture in its development of the Fenicia Progress Programme urban design, which makes up part of the Fenicia Triangular Zoning Plan. The paper describes the stages of development, which started with open consultation with the community and ended with the urban design of the plan. This experience demonstrates that the community and the university share common desires about the transformation of land, and as such, represents a development of the implementation of socially inclusive urban interventions, and the physical evolution of the university that is more integrated with the city.
