COP30: una conferencia que desborda sus propios límites

No. 14 (2026-02-13)

Abstract

The editorial note for Issue 14 of Naturaleza y Sociedad. Desafíos Medioambientales is dedicated to highlighting the reflections of two researchers who attended the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), held in Belém do Pará (Brazil) in November 2025. This annual gathering sought to advance joint actions—among world leaders, members of the scientific community, non-governmental organizations, and representatives of civil society—to address the challenges of climate change. The editorial team extends its appreciation to Germana Barata, researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and Paula Drummond, communication specialist, both participants at COP30, for their willingness to share their insights and analyses of the event.
