Diego Samper

Diego Samper (1954) is an artist and designer interested in the dialogues between biology, anthropology, natural history, and indigenous cultures; his work is a dialogue with the natural world. He has explored photography, cinematography, ambient sound and music, painting and drawing, sculptural installations, and architectural design. In 2009, he started the Calanoa project with Marlen Escobar, a nature reserve and cultural and biological conservation proposal for the tropical rainforest.
