Abstract
This article outlines how the institutions and organizations of Bogota's urban mass transport system has historically configured particular habits and logics of behavior. This institutional frame has not allowed the establishment of an efficient urban mass transport system capable of absorbing the city's needs. The con flict has became a part of the citizens everyday life and is a clear example of how institutions create incentives that influence the individual behavior. The institutionalization of habits such as the conflict has reinforced the problems in the city?s urban mass transport system.
