Abstract
Women are increasingly expressing their account of historical events in cultural productions such as novels and memoirs. This article examines a text by Laura Restrepo as an example of women shaping the narrative of the peace process in Colombia. Through the use of a feminine voice a distinct perspective of historical events in Colombia disrupts in the official and supposedly objective account of History.
