Abstract
Using a research on the rural space transformations at Navarra (Spain) as starting point, the author—a sociologist specialized in the study of spatial—temporal imaginaries of contemporary culture—traced a map of the challenges these transformations impart to the Social Sciences in Europe as well as in the Americas.
