Abstract

The present chronicle narrates the violence story of Clemente Mosquera, a 12 year-old boy whose family is murdered by paramilitary groups at Apartadó, for considering them helpers of the guerrillas. The story takes place in 1996, during the Samper Administration period. Years after, Clemente is recruited by the guerrilla group FARC and dies in a combat against the army. Based on Clemente Mosquera’s story, the author reflects on the forced displacement phenomenon, of which innocent Colombians are victims.
