Abstract
This article analyzes the role of caricature in performances by contemporary artists James Luna, Guillermo Gómez Peña, and Roberto Sifuentes. The aim is to highlight caricatures and suggest how they be a central axis of analysis within intercultural studies. These performances demonstrate how caricatures, not just done to intercultural subjects but also by them, makes confession and testimony key dynamics that makes it possible for this subject to be a mediator in intercultural dialogues.
