Abstract
The article assumes a conceptual link exists between morality and rationality and attempts to show this link in the context of a critical dialogue with utilitarianism and by showing how rational egoism is self-contradictory. The main question is if such a thing would allow us to simultaneously demonstrate the rationality and the morality of cooperation and solidarity.
