Vicarious Resilience: A Comprehensive Review

Abstract
Vicarious resilience has been defined as the positive impact on and personal growth of therapists resulting from exposure to their clients’ resilience. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the qualitative and quantitative research conducted in the past 10 years, and offers suggestions for future research.
