Os debates da virada ontológica sobre o naturalismo moderno

Resumo
A virada ontológica agrupa um conjunto de perspectivas que coincidem em seu interesse por propor alternativas ao dualismo entre natureza e cultura que o naturalismo moderno estruturou. Ao pôr em questionamento a concepção do que é o real, essas perspectivas reivindicam formas alternativas de entender as articulações entre o natural e o cultural, e, a partir disso, apresentam relevantes desafios para a compreensão das relações sociais do mundo contemporâneo. No campo dos conflitos socioambientais, certas linhas da ecologia política reivindicam que os “conflitos de distribuição cultural” não podem ser eludidos. Nesse sentido, a virada ontológica propõe chaves conceituais que podem resultar relevantes para compreender a configuração desses conflitos. Este artigo aborda, de maneira sintética, as proposições de alguns autores destacados na virada ontológica, muitos deles vinculados ao campo da antropologia, e oferece uma cartografia geral e introdutória sobre essa virada útil para aqueles que começam a se aproximar desse campo de análise.
