Torres del Parque, built in Bogotá in May 68’. A conversation about the inner workings of Rogelio Salmona’s project

The El Parque Housing Estate —known as Torres del Parque—, located in Bogotá, was conceived by the architect Rogelio Salmona (Paris, 1929-Bogotá, 2007) at the beginning of the 1960s. There were years of uncertainty, of doubt, of successive testing until he found the right form. In May 1968, the construction of Las Torres Began thanks to the extraordinary dialogue that was later known as the executive triangle: architect and designer, Rogelio Salmona, Italian engineer Doménico Parma, and the architect and project coordinator Urbano Ripoll.
