Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of the media, in general, and the role of journalism in particular, in the present situation of war in Colombia. The article elaborates three hypotheses that intend to establish a theoretical discussion with some of the more hegemonic concepts that have established the limits of the professional and intellectual field of the journalism in this type of situations.
