The Production of Space in Two Contemporary Fairs

Abstract
The aim of this article is to state, through the examples of two contemporary trade fairs (Expoartesanías and Feria de las Colonias), and from the perspective of the production of the space, some analytical guidelines about the relations between economy and culture. The article stresses that these fairs reproduce two dominant discourses in the current situation of those relations: the value of cultural diversity and of cultural entrepreneurship.
