This open-topic call welcomes articles that critically examine the contributions, tensions, and challenges surrounding the production and practice of social sciences from, in, and for Latin America and the Caribbean. It welcomes theoretical, case-based, methodological, comparative, and state-of-the-field articles in Spanish, English, or Portuguese. Contributions may draw on sociology, history, anthropology, political science, philosophy, and psychology, as well as on cultural and gender studies. We will also accept reflective texts and interviews that contribute to the debate, which should be approximately 5,000 words in length.
