Tipos de identificação partidária. A América Latina em perspectiva comparada, 2004-2012

Resumo
Analisa-se a identificação com partidos na América Latina em duas dimensões: volume e composição. Em geral, a literatura se concentra na análise do volume, medido como a porcentagem de cidadãos identificados com algum partido. Contudo, dois países com idêntico volume de identificação não necessariamente compartilham idênticos contextos institucionais ou sistemas de partidos. A identificação pode ser reproduzida em diferentes ambientes. Inclusive, pode ser cultivada em sistemas de partidos instáveis e escassamente programáticos, o que leva a pensar na existência de diferentes tipos de identificação. Aqui, propõem-se duas: a identificação por convicção e a identificação por transição. Para mostrar o predomínio de cada tipo de identificação, utilizou-se a série de resultados de Latinobarómetro (1995-2003) e LAPOP (2006-2012), desenhando modelos logísticos multinomiais por país.
