Abstract
Curriculum design in Chile has directed the guidelines of education. Since experts in the area, such as Mario Leyton, introduce the concept of curriculum design, it has been assimilated from a centralized vision, where the school and the teacher do not participate in design processes. However, we seek to change this vision and move towards one where design centers on the school, with the teacher playing a significant role, taking into account different opinions and theories of national experts. This policy was not made concrete when adequately conceptualizing the curricular design, so an intermediate route is proposed, carrying out an analysis of the contextual processes of this concept.
